Sat morning training

Osu Today I trained with Mr Kouichi Petas. It was a tough circuit training with Mike focusing on speed. Lots of kettle bells and medicine balls. Mike loves them. I really hate Turkish get ups I think it has to be the worst exercise ever invented. They really suck.
Then to finish us off we had hill sprints. Kouichi and I raced each other but hes too powerful. I have little legs so kept losing :(

Merry Christmas

All I want for xmas is a new tooth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Santa has a part time job in Shibuya handing out tissues, poor Santa! Times are tough.

Sat night 12/06/08

HI
It's raining cats and dogs tonight. A perfect night to update my blog. Here are some photos from The K-1 World Grand Prix at Yokohama Arena. It must have been sold out, I couldn't see a spare seat anywhere.
Also on Sat night we had Bonenkai. An end of year team party. I joined the crew later after K-1, they had already been to dinner and were well on their way. We went to a karaoke bar in dodgey Kabukicho. All you can drink for 2 hours!!

K-1

What a major upset and anti climax
Badr Hari tried to turn the final into an MMA fight and stomped Bojanskys head. He kept punching after the ref yelled stop and the ref had to pull him off. Bojansky was given 5min to recover but couldnt. Hari got a red card and disqualified.
In other news Texiera lost Ray Sefo is still the man and beat the Korean monster and Le Banner broke his arm.

RRR

I learnt an important lesson today.

Don't mix Hydroxycut (weight loss supplement) and red wine! I have the biggest hangover, someone put a bomb in my head. Oh my God!!!

These are some photos of Kokubunji, my neighborhood. It's a nice night tonight.

Photos

Just a few photos from the last few days

Monday's Suck

I hate Monday's, I definatley have Mondayitis today. It's hard to come back to work after such a fun weekend. I really enjoyed being back at training and yesterday was so great. Korematsu and Ryo fought so well. I think Ryo's fight was one of the loudest and hardest of the night. The crowd was screaming so much and they both gave each other standing 8 counts. It was a really good fight and Junpei was lucky to win. I am sure they will have an excellent revenge match in the future. I also thought that Mr Pegasus had the best looking "seconds". Why did everyone happen to have the same hair??
And i have never seen so much blood before. A guy got an elbow to the forehead and it was a real mess. He looked like he was from Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
We all went for Yakiniku last night as a team. It was great. I think we are lucky to have such a great team, everyone is so friendly. It's like a big family.
I will post some more photos tonight

Sat Morning Training

Sat morning means training. Every Sat we get together for some stamina training. It was a hard one for me as I've just come back from a break. I know tomorrow I will be in pain. Lots of kettle bells, medicine balls, step and speed work. Afterwards we played paparazzi and all had our photos taken for our blogs.
After lunch Mike and I went for a Korean lunch and then mucked around designing blogs all day. Shock horror he even baked a cake!!
Were all very excited about tomorrow`s fights. Korematsu fights at about 1am and Ryo Pegasus at 7pm. Its gonna be a busy day. I`ll be in Yokohama in Korematsu`s corner during the afternoon and then we will rush to Korakuen to see Ryo.
I hope they both win. I am crossing my fingers and toes for them.

OSU
First I'll introduce myself as this is my first blog. My name's Rachael Ray and I am the only female on this team. I am a Kiwi from Wellington, New Zealand. My background is Kyokushin Karate and I have been training in Tokyo for the last 2 years and in NZ for about 3years. I represent Kokubunji Dojo, Tokyo and am fighting regularly in and around Japan. I have been training with Mike since I arrived and he is keen to get me into MMA and some boxing. I hope to fight for Roof-Top very soon and bring us home some new trophies :)
This weeks news...........
Mike and I trained with Korematsu tonight. He's fighting on Sunday and is looking good. Lots of sparring tonight and some clinching. It felt good to be back. I've had a short break and am back and ready to kill.
Went to The Shootboxing World Tournament on Monday in Saitama. It was interesting, my first time to watch Shootboxing. Andy Sower took the tournament title and is again the new Shootboxing World Champion. There were some great K-O's and the final between Sower and Ogata was great. Ogata has a big heart and just kept on getting up.
Next Sat I will be at the K-1 World Grand Prix so I will post some updates and photos
Keep watching........
